CDRH等は、コンビネーション製品に関するFDAフィードバックの要求に関する最終ガイダンスを公表しました。

本ガイダンスは、コンビネーション製品の申請者が、510(k)等に関連して、科学的および規制上の質問についてFDAからフィードバックを得る方法について示されています。

FDAは、Safety and Performance Based Pathway(安全性と性能に基づく経路)に関連する3つの製品固有ガイダンスを公表しました。

Safety and Performance Based Pathway(安全性と性能に基づく経路)に関するガイダンス(弊社メールマガジン第64号でご案内いたしました通り)では、510(k)申請時の提出物の実質的同等性の実証を容易にするための、略式510(k)プログラムの拡大に関するFDAの現在の考え方や新たな選択肢が示されていました。

上記に関連して、特定のデバイスについてSafety and Performance Based Pathwayを使用するための、2つの製品固有ガイダンス(最終ガイダンス)が公表されていましたが(2020年8月)、今回、同様に3つの製品固有ガイダンス(最終ガイダンス)が公表され、合計5つとなりました。
